All cows and ponies healthy

Hello All,
Just seen all the cattle together (ish) and the ponies not too far off too. The Little Calf was tricky to spot at first but was found wandering nearby and soon caught up with the rest of the herd. One thing we did spot was a small bald patch on one of the adult cows, which I haven't seen before (pic below). It didn't look sore, there were no flies or maggots to be seen, and the cow was walking and grazing as normal, so I don't think there is anything to be overly worried about, but it is definately something to keep an eye on.
Hope you're not all getting too wet in the rain, we somehow missed all the showers today!

    Saturday 28th March pm

Although it was raining a little when we first arrived, we were lucky with both weather and lookering!
We saw Jack & Jill as we walked down from the Blackbushe gate and they wandered over to us.Sighted some of the herd and headed towards them Result: Bull, 3 cows, 1 brown calf + Sooty or Sweep(1 dark brown calf) in area 3 and the rest of the herd 2 cows + 1 dark brown calf + Houdini our favourite calf all together in area 6. So today all quite close together and all looking healthy + inquisitive.Saw the cow with the patch, but doesn't seemed troubled by it,but it now has a distinguishing mark!Stream is running well now and interesting to see the weather changed when Andrew mentioned firebreakers in an earlier report!! Sorry :(

  2. Sunday 29th April 11.30am - Very wet!!
We saw 2 ponies and 8 cattle, missed 1 cow and the smallest calf. Jack came running over to us, I moved before he arrived but Andy stayed intending to give him a stroke, however as he got to Andy, Jack turned and kicked out his back legs just missing Andy as he jumped back. Jack and Jill then ran at the cattle, scattering them. As we looped around a little later, they again charged at the cattle (we took cover in the trees!) and again as we walked up the hill and looked back Jack was charging the cattle making them run. I am concerned for any unsuspecting walkers.

Found 9 of the cattle in area 9 peacefully eating.
Could not find 1 cow or the 2 ponies.
We noticed that 2 of the cows now have small bald patches :
Tag No. : ?00033 ? above her back right leg
Tag No. : 200043 ? above her back left leg
About a week ago we noticed the bull licking one of the cows on the rear back.
This could have been the cause or the result of the bald patches?
